Join us Tuesday, September 17 for our HEALTHtalks Annual Luncheon! By registering early, you can take advantage of our Early Bird Rate of $75, which is only available through August 6!
Each year, we feature a national expert whose work and perspectives are inspiring us and advancing health equity.
This year we're thrilled to feature Tara Houska (Couchiching First Nation Anishinaabe), who is a tribal attorney and Campaigns Director of Honor the Earth. She spent six months on the frontlines fighting the Dakota Access Pipeline, and is currently engaged in the movement to defund fossil fuels. She is a co-founder of Not Your Mascots, a non-profit committed to eradicating Native stereotyping. She's given a TED talk and Harvard keynote, as well as won numerous awards, conferred by everyone from Melinda Gates to Outside Magazine.
In addition to an incredible speaker, we also use this event to honor the work of health equity leaders and champions across the state. If you know someone you'd like to see recognized, please nominate them by August 14.
This event is capped at 300 people and usually fills up! Register now to claim your seat! Lunch and Spanish interpretation will be provided!
See you in September!
