Soles4Souls is a wonderful organization that is one of our non-profit comrades in our community. They are a non-profit social enterprise 501(c)3. Their mission is to create sustainable jobs and provide relief through the distribution of shoes and clothing around the world. Since Soles4Souls began in 2006, They have distributed over 30 million pairs of shoes in 127 countries and all 50 US states. Check out their volunteer opportunity this Saturday and bring some friends to make it a fun and memorable event!

Volunteer before Back to School!
Volunteer to load SHOES to help others in need!
Each time the Colorado warehouse reaches 25,000 pairs we load them onto a semi-truck. Since 2013, the Colorado warehouse has sent over 750,000 pairs of shoes to help entrepreneurs around the world step out of poverty! You’ll be helping load the 33rd Colorado Soles4souls truck and therefore helping more than 35 families provide food, shelter and schooling for a full year!
When: August 17th
Time: 8 – 10 am
Where: The warehouse 5158 Parfet St #5 Wheat Ridge, CO 80033
(Waze is the only APP that DOES NOT work to get you here)
Who: All who want to help. Kids ages 7-14 need to be accompanied by adult
What to expect: Some of the shoes will be loaded by the forklift and the rest are bagged and we will be lifting and throwing them onto the truck. Please take a break whenever you need!

· Please wear comfortable work out type clothing that you don’t mind getting a little dirty. I have gloves, but you can always bring a pair if you have some. Closed toe shoes are a must!
· Also, please bring your own refillable water bottle! A small breakfast and snacks will be provided to celebrate our hard work!
· Volunteer hours are available!
· Great sports team or employee engagement activity!

Directions to the warehouse:
From I-70
Exit onto Kipling St
Head north on Kipling St - 0.8 mi
Turn left onto W 49th Ave/W Interstate 70 Frontage Rd- 0.6 mi
Turn right onto Parfet St. (1 street after Oak)- 0.3 mi
Pass the car dealership that is on the left, continue up the hill, to your right you will see a Parfet Industrial Park.
Turn into the Industrial/warehouse park, drive straight back, and take a right when it dead ends
We are in the WHITE warehouses at the back and #5 is to the right located behind a retaining wal
