Hi Puksta Alumni! This was shared with us by one of your peers who thought it would be useful for some of you!

While we hope that our scholarship that you received had greatly helped in alleviating the cost of your tuition, we know that realistically you may be dealing with some leftover student loans. Hopefully this webinar can help you navigate through these uncertain and challenging times.

Right now, over 761,000 Coloradans are working to pay back over $27.7 billion in student loan debt, and this burden is especially high for rural Coloradans and communities of color. The student debt crisis requires long-term solutions and we know that the COVID-19 pandemic has only exacerbated the impacts that student debt burdens have on young people across the state.

Join Majority Leader Fenberg, New Era Colorado, AFT-CO, and the Student Borrower Protection Center in a virtual townhall this Thursday, April 9th from 3-4pm MT. During the townhall Majority Leader Fenberg will discuss the 2020 legislative session and the local impact the student loan crisis is having in Colorado and the Student Borrower Protection Center will provide information and answer questions about how to navigate student debt during the COVID-19 pandemic.
