In the face of systemic racism and state-sanctioned violence, what can Black, Indigenous and People of Color do internally with their anger and rage?
Lama Rod Owens, author of Love and Rage: The Path of Liberation through Anger, joins Liberate in a live virtual gathering on Zoom to center us in our healing as we work through anger and rage.
From the event, you’ll walk away with:
- Guidance on how to use your meditation and mindfulness practice to use rage as a positive source of vitality, courage, and dedication.
- Guidance on how to use the positive source of energy in our solidarity and to enact social change.
- A deep sense of connection and community to support you during these challenging times
This event is open to all that identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.
This event is donation-based and the suggested donation is $20 which go to the teacher and our relief fund to provide subscriptions to many who are unemployed, single mothers, and students. You can give via PayPal here.

Our vision for the future.
We believe in a future where Black and Brown (as well as the larger Global Majority) walk around at home in their bodies. They feel a sense of joy and the possibilities they see for themselves is limitless. We believe it starts with a commitment to our mental health and the way we view ourselves. We are worth investing in resources that help us move past what society says about us. We can move past the opinions that we have to change who we are to fit in and be successful. We can move past the self-blame and criticism to love and connection to ourselves and others.
Our commitment to accessibility.
We’ve created the Liberate Fund to collect donations to offer our resources at reduced costs to individuals, non-profit organizations and first responders.
