Workshop Description: A history, philosophy, and experience of mutual aid from an activist who can share the experiences from the local perspectives of various social class distinctions within the Colorado and occupied Arapaho, Apache, and Ute lands. This talk will be centered around the social relations involved in cooperation and a discussion about what mutual aid is, what it isn’t, and what this could mean for the future of community organizing going forward.
ELI COLLINS: Eli (he/they) is a BIPOC activist and mutual aid organizer who has lived in Colorado most of their lives with a background in engineering, philosophy, programming, and economics.
